OUR STORY
Primary school sweethearts, together for eighteen years and married since 2014, Kirsty and Jesse are a rock-solid couple.
Kirsty and Jesse have been involved in the music world for most of their lives. Kirsty is an international touring artist, who has won numerous awards over the course of her career, including the much-coveted Golden Guitar Award (2 in total) and Toyota Star Maker Competition (fellow winners include Keith Urban and Lee Kernaghan). Her last album has well over 1 million streams and was the highest charting of her career to date. Jesse has worked on the other side of the microphone, producing and directing over 150 music videos, as well as creating social media and promotional content for hundreds of different musicians and events, in Australia and overseas. Jesse has now stepped out from behind the camera into the spotlight and performs on stage as part of the trio RHINESTONED with Kirsty and Dan Ebbels.
With a love of interior design, in early 2021, after many years applying, Kirsty and Jesse were successful in securing a spot on the hugely popular Channel 9 reality show ‘The Block’ for the ‘Fans v Faves’ season. Having purchased and flipped several houses since the age of 18, the pair were extremely well suited to the series. The show became another massive ratings hit for the network and presented Kirsty and Jesse to an estimated 65% of the Aussie population through the 6 month broadcast period (According to Channel 9 reporting). The duo was portrayed as hard working, honest and respectful, winning the hearts of households across Australia.
When not performing, Kirsty and Jesse spend their time continuing to renovate houses, the latest being their own home in beautiful Lake Macquarie, you can follow along the process with their Lake House Build series they are currently filming. Due to the constant request of family and friends for help with styling and staging their homes for sale, Kirsty and Jesse have now launched their new business 'FEELS LIKE HOME' which sees them styling and staging homes in the Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas (you can read more about on this site)

We are still pinching ourselves that this dream kitchen is ours! We have had to be very budget conscious with our Lake House Build so we decided to save money on our cabinetry and used a flat pack option from Design 10 so we could splurge in other areas, and boy we are so glad we did as this kitchen looks high end and is amazing quality. GUEST BEDROOM
We are in love with everything about this guest bedroom. This will be the room our nieces and nephews sleep in when they stay over so it was important to keep it gender neutral. We love how the warm green's and rust colours pop against the white paneling. We also built this custom bunk bed to add extra sleeping space in an average sized room. DECK
When we first purchased this house in 2015, the one thing we always dreamed of was a huge deck off the front of the house that overlooks our beautiful lake and is great for entertaining family and friends. Our Master bedroom isn’t a huge grand space like the one we did on The Block, but it still packs a punch! We wanted touches of femininity and masculinity at the same time as meeting the coastal aesthetic throughout the rest of our home. We used pops of green, golds and a little pink making this space pretty as a picture 😍

ENTRY FOYER
It's hard to believe what was once our garage underneath the house is now the new entry foyer of our Lake House Build. Once we finish our extension, there will be internal access from what will be our new garage. We love that this is an extra living space, the lounge we chose is a sofa bed for when extra guests stay and we also included an extra linen cupboard because you can never have enough storage! We are so in love with the whole space but especially love our wallpaper design that continues up into the main living area and our beautiful new staircase! See below for all the details.
